Flatwork ironers from Miele

Flatwork ironers from Miele

The newest generation of flatwork ironers from Miele work 10% faster yet consume 10% less energy than their predecessors. Depending on model, they can handle just over 100kg of laundry per hour.

Both gas and electric models release the bulk of their heat shortly after infeed to optimise heat distribution while lowering energy consumption. The outfeed table cools laundry down before removal, freezing the finish in place, thanks to warm air rising through perforations in the honeycombed sculptured surface.

The aluminium trough conducts heat four times more efficiently than steel, and the 167° laundry wraparound angle increases the surface over which laundry is in direct contact with the trough by 8%.

Features include adjustable speed and temperature control, high-quality pickers on the outfeed side to remove marks and dents, and a flexible footswitch to halt ironing instantaneously.

Optional extras include a return feed module, a belt feed, and spring-padded rollers.

The three models (PM1318, PM1418 and PM1421) provide a choice of widths from 1,680mm to 1,990mm.
