The new FTN and FTP Series of flight-type warewashers from Hobart use patented new technology to increase wash performance while slashing operating costs by up to 50%.
Both series can wash 7,200 plates an hour and use advanced drying and wash systems that allow the use of lower-energy wash motors and low-mounted wash pumps.
Improvements include the patented Contact-Plus wash system, which has a 65% wider spray jet pattern than the norm; the T-rinse triple rinse, which reduces detergent carry-over and keeps rinse water cleaner for longer; and a Low-Chem system to reduce detergent use by as much as 55%.
The Freeflow conveyor belt ensures wash and rinse water reach all items evenly, while efficient Jetstream drying directs air from below as well as from above.
New-generation exhaust heat exchangers reduce exhaust output by as much as 20%, while the optimised heat pumps cut electrical use to save up to £40,000 in running costs over 10 years and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 190,000kg.
The more advanced FTP machines also feature new rinse temperature profiles.
