Flora champions World Heart Day

The Flora brand is championing World Heart Day by running an "Up the Beat" promotion throughout September, ending on World Heart Day on 28 September.

Following the success of a similar promotion run last year, the national campaign aims to help caterers offer their customers a healthy choice, and remind diners about the need to reduce consumption of saturated fats as part of an overall healthy diet.

There is specially designed point-of-sale material with recipe suggestion cards using Flora spreads, and if diners choose a Flora meal deal, then they will receive a "text-to-win" card that gives them the chance to win a £1,000 Dream Holiday ticket or one of five runners-up prizes of Nintendo Wii consoles and dance mats.

Operators themselves will also get the chance to win one of four Unilever culinary and nutrition consultations.
