Foodservice Camembert and AOP butter from Isigny

Normandy farmers' co-operative Isigny Sainte-Mère is expanding its premium dairy line to meet the expanding British taste for more adventurous flavours, and for provenance and traceability from pasture to plate.

It has made its 250g packs of Isigny Camembert Médaillon available through Costco outlets across the UK, and launched food service-sized 25g refills of its top-quality AOP butter into Brakes.

The cheese is made from the best milks in Normandy, chosen for their richness of cream, protein and vitamin content and overseen by the master cheesemaker at all stages of production.

The golden, buttercup-coloured butter has notes of hazelnut and milk and now carries the European Appellation d'Origine Protégée label (which is replacing the old French Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée mark).
