Football-themed McCoy's and KP Nuts bags from United Biscuits

United Biscuits (UB) is launching promotions targeting football fans this summer across its McCoy's and KP Nuts brands.

McCoy's has introduced two football-themed limited edition flavours for the summer period. Chicken Winger and Sausage Striker are available in 50g handy packs with a MRRP of 55p.

Also from McCoy's, the "Are you a real fan?" promotion aims to engage with its target audience of young males. Fans can enter the competition via text or online for a chance to win one of 10 all-expenses-paid football trips around the world including places such as Barcelona, Milan and the World Cup host nation South Africa.

Fans can also bag football survival kits containing an inflatable football chair, a snack bowl for sharing McCoy's, a beer cooler, horn and money off the next purchase of McCoy's.

The KP Nuts promotion will direct consumers who buy packs of KP Nuts to vote by text or online for their best quality football moment of all time for a chance to win football-themed prizes including mini footballs, replica shirts and table football games as well as a holiday to a top football destination.

Also, UB says that during the period of the last World Cup, sales of sharing bags grew by double the rate of the market and peaked at a huge 250% before the big games. As a result, UB is introducing a range of limited edition sharing drums for the summer including KP Nuts, Mini Cheddars and Twiglets.
