Free tickets for Universal Cookery & Food Festival at River Cottage

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage in Devon will play host to the 2014 Universal Cookery & Food Festival and the Craft Guild of Chefs is giving away two free tickets to attend.

The line-up for the trade-only event on 24 September will include Asian chefs Pervin and Cyrus Todiwala sharing best practice on ‘Keeping it in the Family'; Paul Cunningham, chef-proprietor of Henne Kirkeby Kro in Denmark, will take over the River Cottage yurt; and Gill Meller, group head chef at River Cottage, will be available throughout the day.

A large farmers' market will feature a mix of international and local producers showcasing their latest innovations and fresh produce.

Craft Guild of Chefs representatives John Feeney, Lee Maycock and Ian Nottage will be on-hand to bring the chefs, caterers, farmers and suppliers together.

For the chance to win two tickets to this exciting event, email your name, title, place of work and contact number to eventsteam@cookeryandfoodfestival.co.uk by 29 August, quoting ‘UCFF giveaway' in the subject bar.

For details on foraging and farm tours of this well-respected setting, including first-hand experience of the self-sustaining strategy, visit www.cookeryandfoodfestival.co.uk

Tickets are still available for £99 plus VAT for Craft Guild of Chefs members and £199 plus VAT for non-members.
