Fresh French ceps from Wild Harvest

It's time to place your orders for this season's fresh Bordeaux cep mushrooms from Wild Harvest while they are at their most flavoursome.

The premium fungi (Boletus edulis) are harvested between the end of August and October from oak and beech forests in Aquitaine and Aveyron and provide a more consistent quality and supply than those from eastern Europe or the USA. The French ceps are virtually maggot-free and come in a generous bouchon size.

Although the flavour of this celebrated mushroom is best a short time after picking, Wild Harvest also sells dried and frozen ceps to ensure a year-round supply.
