Fresh Montgomery launches 2019 Foodservice Show

Event organiser Fresh Montgomery has launched the 2019 Foodservice Show, which will take place at the Birmingham NEC 22-23 January.

At its heart will be a mini wholesale market championing artisanal businesses. The ‘covered market' will house up to 30 butchers, fishmongers, bakeries, dairy specialists and fresh produce suppliers.

The show will feature more than 220 exhibitors, covering categories including innovations in stocks, sauces and marinades; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; single serve; frozen foods; ambient goods; grab-and-go; baked goods; meat and fish; and dairy products.

‘Café Commerce' will also feature the big names in tea, coffee and equipment, and expert speakers explaining how to produce a consistent product, appeal to today's consumer and make more money from your drinks.

Ross Carter, portfolio director at Fresh Montgomery, said: "As an industry we all want to see the thriving foodservice market continue to innovate, excite and grow. We're investing more than ever to ensure we have the right features and exhibitors that guarantee visitors leave the show with the relationships, insight and products they need to drive their business forward."

The Foodservice Show will be the first event in the sector to feature an exclusive, dedicated buyers' club. The ‘HRC 200 Birmingham' will bring together 200 procurement professionals in the foodservice and hospitality markets to meet suppliers face-to-face.

The programme is officially launching later in the summer, and founding members already include Sodexo, Amadeus, Vision, Spirit, Shine, ABDA and Bartlett Mitchell.

This event is run by Fresh Montgomery, which organises HRC (formerly Hotelympia). The Foodservice Show will run alongside the Professional Kitchen Show at the NEC.
