Fruit and nut snacks from Cranberry Enterprise

A 10-strong mix of its best-selling dried and roasted nut and fruit snacks marks the food service debut of Cranberry Enterprise, best known for its self-selection kiosks in railway stations. It is targeting its new line of branded 125g and 175g grab bags at staff restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotel mini bars, the education and travel sectors and the vending markets.

Cranberry Enterprise describes its launch products as a crossover between confectionery and healthy indulgences, and colour-codes the bags into three categories.

Nuts (orange) include mixed raw nuts, lightly salted mixed nuts, honey cashews, spicy smoked almonds, and Mexican cashews. They are hand-roasted and coated in-house using Middle Eastern air-drying roasting techniques instead of traditional frying or vegetable oil processing, for a healthier, tastier product. The fruit line (green) includes whole cranberries and mixed berries; while the purple-coded line of coated snacks includes milk chocolate macadamias, yogurt banana chips and yogurt cranberries.
