Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances boosts spare part lines

Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances, the manufacturer of Burco and Lec Commercial appliances, has announced stock holding of more than 1,500 of the most common spare parts lines at the company's base in Prescot, Merseyside.

In stock and ready to ship, the store of spare parts can be quickly dispatched directly to the caterer or sent out with one of the company's dedicated Fixd engineers for a scheduled service or maintenance visit. A team of experienced factory-trained telephone service advisors is available to assist in the identification of a particular spare part either from a pre-determined diagnostic code or operator description, before efficiently placing the order ready for transport.

Jon Usher, head of UK sales & marketing at Glen Dimplex Professional Appliances, described how the combination of the comprehensive stockholding and the dedicated Fixd service offers one of the most complete after-sales services on the market.

"By holding a stock of over 1,500 spare parts at our base in the UK we are able to quickly identify, pack and ship the necessary parts in the shortest possible time. Should further maintenance or servicing be required, we are able to provide the Fixd engineer with the specific part prior to arriving on site, reducing downtime and significantly increasing the first time fix results of a call out," he said.

Stock includes internal electrical and gas components, seals, replacement bulbs, filters, glass doors, additional shelves and cleaning and descaling products.
