Global food and drink trends from Bunzl Lockhart

Bunzl Lockhart has launched a new brochure called Trend Set which aims to provide operators with insight into the latest global trends in the art of food and drink presentation.

A global trend spotting team from the company were tasked with evaluating food, drink, cultural and economic changes across the world with each trend married to a specific sector of the hospitality industry.

Paul Nieduszynski, managing director, Bunzl Lockhart Catering Equipment, explained: "As with any industry, trends play a huge role in driving consumer buying habits. The launch of our Trend Set brochure outlines our commitment to inform and inspire operators in the art of food and drink presentation so that their business thrives.

The brochure examines challenges and solutions for the pub sector, street food operators, contract caterers and hoteliers with a host of ideas for each category to benefit from the information that has been gathered.

There are also clever ideas for operators on how to take every day dishes, such as a steak dinner, fish and chips or a classic Sunday roast and elevate them to the next level, through the simple use of stunning tableware to create visually beautiful dishes.

The brochure concludes with the ‘Cool Stuff,' showcasing an array of novel products from pepper mills, an egg ramekin on a stand, coloured tumblers, shot glasses and copper service pots perfect for presenting chips.
