Gram calls on industry to support green paper report

Refrigeration supplier Gram ](http://www.gram-commercial.com/)is calling all food service and hotel operators within the industry to take part in the Gram Green Paper report for 2012.

For the past 10 years, Gram has been raising awareness of sustainability within the food service market and was the first to publish a series of groundbreaking, independent reports looking into the industry's attitudes and behaviours towards a greener and more responsible future.

You can support this by visiting the Gram microsite - www.gogreenwithgram.co.uk/gp2012 - to fill out an online questionnaire before 4 June, the responses of which will be collated and analysed before forming part of the results to be announced in September.

This year, Gram has teamed up with the leading industry channel associations, including LACA, TUCO, SRA, CHA and NACC, and in addition to the education, restaurant, hotel and care home sectors, Gram will be seeking respondents from within the pub and contract catering channels.

Mark Linehan, managing director of the [Sustainable Restaurant Association](http://www.thesra.org/), said: "We are pleased to be working with Gram on the Green Paper 2012. Speaking directly to chefs and operators gives us an understanding of industry attitudes towards sustainability and its impact on the industry.

"We support Gram's efforts to ascertain how many restaurants are committed to running their businesses sustainably. Installing energy efficient kitchen equipment and better waste management systems are two ways of being sustainable that can also provide significant cost savings."

All completed responses will be entered into a prize draw and a winner will be picked at random to receive a free iPad 3.
