Gram UK debates the EU directive

On Tuesday 5 July, refrigeration manufacturer Gram will present the next in their series of Go Green Debates.

Joined by a panel of foodservice experts, Glenn Roberts, Hoshizaki Gram UK's managing director will lead a debate on the hot topic of the recently introduced EU Ecodesign directive, live on the internet at 3pm.

Accompanied by Mark Kendal, project director at Inox Equip and director at CEDA, Richard Smith, head of purchasing at Bunzl Lockhart and Peter Farrell sales director at C&C Catering, Roberts will lead a discussion on the impact of the implementation of EU Ecodesign Directive, and its effectiveness in promoting a more sustainable future for the industry.

"The new directive is set to change the foodservice landscape and its implementation will widen the scope for bigger and better technological advancements," said Roberts.

"The panel will also discuss the need for the directive, who its affects and whether it's something that operators, want, need or will come to rely on when making future purchasing decisions".

Those keen to have their say on the topic can participate in the debate by sending their questions to questions@thegogreendebate.co.uk or tweet @Gramukgreen using the #TheGoGreenDebate or join the conversation by registering at www.thegogreendebate.co.uk
