Great British Chefs launch Alaska seafood recipe app

Great British Chefs and the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute has launched its first ever Alaska seafood recipe iPad app, available to download for free from the iTunes store.

Featuring 60 exclusive new recipes, designed by a team of 17 of the UK's hottest chefs, the dishes incorporate sustainably fished products, such as wild Alaska black cod, sockeye salmon, halibut and king crab.

Highlights include a Macadamia-crusted Alaska black cod fillet with orzo and salsa verde created by Luke Holder; Alaska king crab, leeks and red pepper with cardamom dressing and sea vegetable salad from Dave Watts; maple-cured Alaska salmon developed by Pascal Aussignac; and an Amritsar-spiced Alaska halibut recipe from Vivek Singh.

Other contributors to the app include William Drabble, Robert Ortiz, Nigel Mendham, Andy Waters, Adam Gray, Alfred Prasad, Dominic Chapman, Anna Hansen, Francesco Mazzei, Matthew Tomkinson, Mark Dodson, Graham Campbell and Daniel Galmiche.
