Harvey & Brockless named Supplier of the Year

Specialist food company Harvey & Brockless has been awarded the title of Supplier of the Year at this year's Compass Group UK & Ireland's Supplier Conference held at the ExCel Exhibition Centre, in London last week.

The conference, which included presentations, workshops and a supplier expo incorporated 150 suppliers exhibiting their products.

The annual conference aims to give suppliers an insight to Compass' plans for the future, highlighting important issues such as sustainability, free range eggs and female chefs.

Oliver Cock, managing director of Foodbuy, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: "Maintaining and developing long-term partnerships with our suppliers is key to our business. The conference was a huge success and a great way to give our suppliers an insight into what is taking place and coming up at with the group.

"The awards evening gives us the opportunity to celebrate and recognise our exceptional array of suppliers and I would like to congratulate all our winners for going above and beyond to provide outstanding service and products across the board."
