Hat-trick of awards for Steelite International

Steelite International has announced three prestigious business awards in the last month with recognition from the National Business Awards, Growing Business Awards and Investors in People for its continuing dedication to the business and its employees.

Steelite was named ‘Employer of the Year' at the National Business Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane. The judges called Steelite International an "outstanding employer" whose "practices reach beyond the workplace".

The tableware manufacturer has also been awarded the ‘Made in Britain' accolade by the Real Business Growing Business Awards which celebrates products and innovations that have been developed, designed, and manufactured in the UK.

Steelite has also been awarded an accreditation by Investors in People, which recognises the commitment of organisations that invest the most in their staff. Steelite has held the Investors in People standard for over 13 years and this reaccreditation is a further validation of its continuing commitment to the people in its workforce.

Heather Lovatt, head of marketing at Steelite International, said: "We're really proud to have won three major awards for our commitment to our staff. Steelite has been at the heart of the Stoke community for more than 100 years and we hope to continue to be long into the future."
