HCE wins £2m deal to revamp Savoy kitchens and bars

Hampshire-based catering equipment supplier HCE has been awarded a £2m contract to supply and install equipment in the kitchens and bars of London's Savoy) hotel which is undergoing a 16-month, £100m restoration.

The company will be involved in restoring the kitchens and eight ‘butler pantries' as well as the infamous American Bar and the new Beaufort Bar, an elegant Art Deco- inspired space serving champagne.

Managing director Jonathan Greep said: "It is an honour to work for one of the most prestigious hotels in the industry. The top standard of quality required by the Savoy is in keeping with our level of service."

Lincolnshire-based food service design solution company GWP will be responsible for the design of the catering facilities.
