HD TV for bathrooms from Aquavision
Five new high definition-ready LCD TVs have joined the Aquavision range of waterproof televisions for hotel bathrooms and showers. The Series 4 in-wall TVs range from a 17in model with a 4:3 aspect ratio to widescreen models in 19in, 26in, 32in and 40in sizes.
All have integrated Freeview digital and analogue tuners; component video, S-video and analogue PC inputs; HDMI inputs; full Scart connections; and built-in games.
The TVs are operated by a waterproof remote control or a remote switch panel installed in a one-gang back box elsewhere in the hotel suite.
The heated screens are designed not to mist up and are available in two versions: optically clear glass or Mirrorvision, which resembles a mirror when the TV is switched off.
The TVs come in three finishes (polar, white and black) and prices range from about £1,692 for the 17in to £8,998 for the 40in (including the bezel installation packs).
