HEFF announces its fourth Diamond Awards winners

The winners of the fourth Heart of England Fine Foods (HEFF) Diamond Awards were unveiled at a gala dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole this Saturday.

[Martins Meats ](http://www.martinsmeats.com/)of Gloucestershire for its 28 Day Aged Longhorhn Fillet Steak, which won the MEAT category .

[Oaklands Eggsof Shropshire scooped the brand new Judges Diamond Award for showing excellence in all three areas covered by the Special Diamond Awards (Grow, Innovate and Excel). These special awards recognise business achievement rather than a single product.

Also new for 2011 was the Midcounties Co-operative Award for New Business, which was presented to the Balti Towerstandoori restaurant in Halesowen.
