Holkham Festive Food Fair to focus on game
This year's Holkham Festive Food Fair in Norfolk, with a live cookery theatre hosted by chef Charlie Hodson of Charlie's Norfolk Food Heroes, will focus on game.
The event, held in Holkham Estate's Lady Elizabeth Wing on 14 and 15 December, will feature local chefs including Eric Snaith of Titchwell Manor near Brancaster; Michael Chamberlain of the Victoria Inn in Holkham; Scott Dougal of Wells Crab House; and Fran Hartshorne of the White Horse in Brancaster Staithe.
The fair will also see around 70 exhibitors showcasing local and regional food and drink, such as homemade jams, chutneys and cheeses, to Norfolk gins, wine and beers, as well as artisan and craft stalls.
This year, the event is raising money and awareness for Heritage House – a local day care centre for the elderly and vulnerable in Wells-next-the-Sea.
