Hot puddings from Brakes

Caterers can help keep their customers warm during the winter months with Brakes' selection of hot desserts such as Plum and Almond Streusel Pudding.

A light almond sponge comes with plum halves and plum jam and is sprinkled with a cinnamon and oat streusel topping. The pudding (200g) is described as having a homemade appearance and a generous portion size and can be prepared in just over a minute in the microwave.

The Individual Baked Jam Roly Poly Pudding (160g) is an individual rolled suet pudding with a sweet raspberry jam filling, while the Chocolate Orange Marmalade Pudding is a moist Seville orange pudding with a rich chocolate orange sauce. The pre-portioned pudding is microwavable in one minute and, as with all the hot desserts, it is supplied in packs of 12.

Another sweet option is the Gingerbread Pudding (190g), a sponge made from stem ginger, topped with rich syrup and served with custard.

On the chilled front, Brakes offers a selection of sorbets including Champagne, mango and raspberry flavours in two-litre tubs.

Or for a healthy alternative try serving the Frozen Dark Fruit Medley and Bramley Apple & Rhubarb Medley fruit bowls supplied in 1kg packs.
