The new i-Bread Functional range of breads from Cotswold Food Partnership has been designed to combine flavour with nutritional and health benefits.

The initial four-strong range comprises i-Bread Omega (a light multigrain enriched with omega-3 and linseed), i-Bread Balance (a white bread with the nutritional value of wholemeal), i-Bread Active (a multigrain loaf packed with inulin - or dietary fibre - to tone up the digestive system), and i-Bread proHeart, which has been developed in tandem with the Dutch Heart Foundation.

They are supplied in two forms: as frozen, part-baked products for bake-off in food service and in-store bakeries to be made by artisan bakers, and as pre-mixes for the craft baker that will be distributed by Kluman & Balter.
