International Food and Drink Event announces 2017 dates

One of the UKs largest food and drink exhibitions, the International Food and Drink Event, (IFE) will be on 19-22 March 2017 at London's ExCeL.

The four day show will see over 1,350 suppliers showcasing their products for international buyers such as Costco, Unilever and British Airways.

Exhibition categories include: bakery; cheese and dairy; drinks; Great British and Irish food; grocery; health and wellbeing; ingredients; meat and seafood; and snacks and confectionery.

Next year, the fair is launching two new speaker stages; the Talking Trends stage and the Big Picture theatre, where industry experts will comment on topics such as consumer buying habits, future food trends, sugar tax, obesity and the skills shortage.

Event director, Soraya Gadelrab said: "We are extremely excited about the 2017 edition of IFE. We have spent the last two years refining our best in class format to ensure that the show stays ahead of the curve and reflects the fast-moving, pioneering and trend-led nature of the global food and drink industry. Co-located with Waste-Works and Pro2Pac, which brings thought leadership and innovation in waste management and packaging, we are confident that when we open in March 2017 our new look IFE will offer suppliers and buyers the most inspiring, engaging and modern IFE experience yet".
