The six-model range of Ital contact grills enables hot breakfast items such as sausages, bacon and omelettes to be cooked quickly on demand. Supplier Apuro says that because the food is cooked on both sides simultaneously without turning, service is faster with natural juices locked in, improving flavour and reducing shrinkage.
Grills are available with flat cast-iron cooking surfaces, one flat surface/one ribbed, or all-ribbed surfaces. On all models, the independently hinged lids are counterbalanced for safety. When used with top plates raised, grills function as griddles. Prices range from £389 to £569.
