Italian-made table linen from Lindolino

The new table linen range from mail order company Lindolino offers a luxurious and more eco-friendly alternative to Egyptian cotton that will look equally at home in traditional and contemporary dining rooms. Like the group's bed linen line, it is made in Italy from 100% linen in classic styles and natural shades.

The linen is at least twice as durable as cotton, uses up to 20 times less energy and water in production, and is machine-washable, biodegradable and recyclable. It has a smooth, consistent weave with few slubs and is available in two ranges and two designs (a plain hem or a classic one-line hemstitch).

The top-of-the-range Treviso range is a luxury thick linen available in classic white, off white or a warm natural colour while Belluno is a fine, translucent linen available in white only.

Designed to fit round, rectangular and square tables, the range includes tablecloths, napkins, placemats and runners. Prices range from £15 for a napkin to £65 for a tablecloth.
