The iWave Automated Foodservice Solution System is designed to deliver a menu with consistency and quality in a deskilled operation.
It uses barcodes to cook, store and transmit usage information and can be tailored to meet different food service requirements.
Food is sealed in a plated container with a bar code that is passed in front of the iWave before going into the oven. A stock control system reports items used and automatically generates a replacement order. The waste and stock loss reporting also gives early warning of slow-moving lines.
A Fresh Food Waste Barcode is available to record food that is past its use-by date before it is disposed of, and this data can be added to the replenishment order, but reported separately so that waste can be monitored.
The iWave is mobile and suitable for fresh, frozen and ambient food products. It is distributed exclusively in the UK by RH Hall.
