Jacob's Creek newcomers from Pernod Ricard

Jacob's Creek has six new additions to its Sparkling, Reserve and Classic ranges, responding to consumer preference for aromatic whites and lighter style reds.

Within the Classic range from South Eastern Australia, the Sauvignon Blanc 2008 (abv 12.5%) has a pale straw colour with green hues, tropical notes of guava and lychee with a background of grapefruit and passion fruit plus a light and delicate palate.

Also in the Classic range, the Pinot Grigio 2008 (12.5% abv) is pale straw in colour with Corella pear and quince fruit notes, highlighted with lemon citrus and honeysuckle.

The Reserve Pinot Noir 2006 (13.8% abv) has a sweet cherry and strawberry bouquet complemented by gentle oak tannins.

The three other wines are a Tempranillo 2008 and Pinot Noir 2008 in the Classic range and a Sparkling Blanc de Blancs NV 10% Chardonnay in the Sparkling range.
