Jus-Rol Professional has begun its search for 2013's Best Pub Pie on the Menu as part of British Pie Week (4-10 March 2013).
To stand a chance of winning the £500 cash prize, personalised chef's jacket, and national and trade press coverage, pub chefs simply need to submit the name of their pie, along with a description and a photograph of the dish to the British Pie Week team before the 22 February 2013.
John McKears, foodservice sales manager from Jus-Rol said: "Our annual competition encourages pub chefs to use seasonality, be creative with ingredients and build on the established success of pies by considering more adventurous recipes.
"With every passing year, I am more impressed by the innovative ideas and the product quality on offer, which shows that the pub pie is very much alive and well."
