Kärcher supports back to work clean-up

German manufacturer Kärcher is supporting businesses getting back to work with a series of online resources and virtual training.

Kärcher recommends that different working environments require different cleaning regimes and equipment, and its newly launched online cleaning resource offers cleaning tips and checklists pertinent to multiple workplace areas.

The training assets, which were filmed at the Kärcher Academy using Kärcher Professional machines, highlight critical areas for contamination and demonstrates how cleaning teams must use personal protective equipment PPE – disposable gloves and aprons – as a minimum standard.

The site also gives specific advice on avoiding contamination in shared kitchens in workplaces, along with advice on flushing tapwater pipes, as water that's been left sitting in pipes for a long period of time could have accumulated chemicals and organisms such as Legionnaire's Disease.
