A selection of six hand-crafted traybakes has been added to the Kate's Cakes product portfolio.
Made in limited batches, the traybakes contain only natural ingredients and free-range eggs.
New flavours include Blueberry and Orange (2kg); Banana and Walnut (1.7kg); Fudgy Chocolate (1.6kg); Bakewell (1,340g) and Caramel Shortbread (1,140g).
Available uncut are the Blueberry and Orange tray containing orange zest, blueberries, buttercream icing and orange zest; the Banana and Walnut sponge cake, with banana pulp topped with cream cheese icing and sprinkled with grated walnuts; and the Fudgy Chocolate sponge cake with buttercream icing and sprinkled with dark chocolate-flavoured vermicelli.
Available cut into 15 slices are the Bakewell tray made with all-butter pastry, layered with jam and frangipane and topped with toasted almonds, and the Caramel Shortbread. The traybakes are supplied frozen in five-tray cases and have a seven-day chilled shelf life.
