Outside Leyenda, a smart cocktail bar in the heart of Brooklyn, there's an incongruous wood and polycarbonate structure that, at first glance, looks like a bus shelter. It's actually for eating outside. It's designed to give diners a modicum of protection in a city where winters can be exceptionally harsh, and it squats across two parking spaces, facing away from traffic and towards the bar.
