La Mamma chafing dish from Rieber

Rather than using old-fashioned gel heaters to keep food warm, the new Rieber Chafing Dish, La Mamma, has an induction unit underneath that will cook, simmer and griddle as well as keep food warm.
Of the 12 pre-set programs that can be selected, six are for regeneration, three for hot holding and three for cooking. Variable power levels make it possible to tailor individual cooking requirements for different densities of food.
Either 2/3 gastronorm or 1/3 gastronorm Rieber Thermoplate (triple-layer) pans can be used with the system and stainless steel buffet lids are an optional extra.
