Lavender-perfumed cheese from Cheese Cellar

Lavender-perfumed cheese from Cheese Cellar

Katy's White Lavender cheese - the latest addition to the Cheese Cellar catalogue - combines light ewes' milk cheese with fresh Yorkshire lavender to provide a delicately perfumed alternative to cows' milk cheeses with a host of health benefits.

It is less likely to provoke food allergies and intolerances than cows' milk and is lower in cholesterol and high in poly- and mono-unsaturated fats.

As both sheep's milk and lavender are believed to promote restful sleep, the cheese makes a suitable finishing course to an evening meal.

It is sourced from family-run Shepherd's Purse Cheeses, the Yorkshire producer of award-winning sheep's milk cheeses.

The lavender-scented cheese is sold in 125g wedges or 800g wheels.

To buy it, call 0845 241 0210
