Leading UK music entrepreneurs launch Boisdale Entertainment
A new, boutique music and entertainment service called Boisdale Entertainment has been formed by a group of industry entrepreneurs whose ethos will be to deliver creative, bespoke live entertainment for private and corporate clients across a range of platforms.
Leading the new enterprise is the group's managing director Michael Gelardi, who was responsible for founding the music and entertainment arm of Forte Plc and has produced more than 800 shows, concerts and events worldwide throughout his career. Alongside Gelardi is founder of the Boisdale group of restaurants and venues Ranald Macdonald, promoter Geoff Todd, previously general manager of London's Ronnie Scott's and now managing all live entertainment at The London Hippodrome, Nathan Evans, also of the Boisdale Group and Peter Brightman, CEO of International Entertainment Corporation make up the collective.
"I am delighted and very excited about the prospect of heading up such a unique team of professionals" explained Gelardi.
"The chemistry between us came together very naturally and I think that our combined experience and creative talents will offer clients a powerful source to make every event a unique and memorable one."
The new company will combine their contacts to deliver an array of live music and entertainment of any style and genre, from string quartets and jazz duos to A-list international artists. An emphasis will be placed on value for money and the quality of both the service that they provide and the live entertainment that they offer.
The five have worked with a myriad of artist over the years, including: Ella Fitzgerald, Sammy Davis Jr., Take That, Beyonce, Dionne Warwick and Katherine Jenkins.
