Lincat expands range of Opus griddles

Lincat has expanded the variety of griddles in its Opus 700 cooking range to nine by launching two half-ribbed models in both gas (OG7208) and electric (OE7209) versions. The new 900mm-wide griddles offer a high output and rapid heat-up and are supplied either for counter-top use or with an optional floor stand.

The stainless-steel, fully welded models feature independently controlled twin heat zones to allow caterers to cook different foods at the same time or to save money by using just one zone during quiet periods. Both feature multiple burners and 16mm-thick griddle plates for even heat distribution, flush radiused sides, a wide fat-drainage hole, and a large fat collection drawer.

Gas models also come with piezo ignition and pilot burners for stand-by operation. Prices range from £1,510 for the electric model to £2,107 for the gas version.
