Lincolnshire asparagus from Wild Harvest

Asparagus, a member of the lily family, is a delicately flavoured and nutrient-dense vegetable packed with folic acid, potassium, fibre, thiamine and vitamins B6, A and C. From April through to June, Wild Harvest can offer its customers the finest Lincolnshire asparagus that is grown in fertile silt fenland near Spalding.

The stems are picked, washed and selected into four grades according to stem thickness before being bunched, sleeved and packed. Wild Harvest sells the asparagus for £3 per bunch or for £30 for a box of 12 bunches.
