USP This new flagship for Snowbird's upgraded Gourmet line of sausages was developed to reflect the company's new commitment to outdoor-bred, single-source, breed-specific, high-welfare pig meat from Red Tractor Farm Assured farmers - a claimed first for a UK processor of fully cooked, frozen sausages.

Details The new Lincolnshire sausage contains in excess of 75% meat from a pig breed selected for its high meat yield, improved quality, traceability and consistency. The natural casing contains a higher level of shoulder meat along with a blend of herbs and spices such as sage, parsley and ground white pepper. Like other Gourmet sausages - which include Cumberland, Pork, Pork & Leek, Olde English Pork, Pork & Mustard, and Pork & Ale - it is ready to heat or defrost from frozen and meets all Food Standards Agency 2012 requirements for low fat and salt levels.
