Little Beauty New Zealand wines from Vinultra

The Kitchin, Martin Wishart and Ondine are among the early customers of Little Beauty, a limited edition, single vineyard range of bespoke wines from New Zealand's Vinultra.

The 41-hectare Sustainably Accredited vineyard was founded in the sheltered Waihopai Valley in Marlborough in 2002, and uses a network of advanced climatic data monitoring equipment to inform day-to-day management decisions.

Its debut vintage in 2008 included a Gewürtztraminer, a Dry Riesling, a Pinot Gris, and a Pinot Noir, and was followed in 2009 by a Sauvignon Blanc.

There are fewer than 6,000 cases available for each of the first two vintages, making Little Beauty a highly niche range.
