USP This reusable and recyclable coffee box - a first for the UK - helps reduce packaging costs and mitigate the soaring cost of the coffee inside. The concept developed from a conversation between the coffee supplier and the purchasing manager of London's Royal Garden hotel and has saved the hotel the cost of disposing of more than 500 boxes a year.
Details Made from corrugated polypropylene, the box can be reused up to 50 times and then recycled into another Magic Mozzo Coffee Box. The box collapses into a flat pack for collection at the next delivery.
Savings The box costs £5 to make, compared with £10 to produce 20 one-use boxes.
