Mash Direct grows, harvests and processes Maris Piper potatoes at its farm on the shores of Strangford Lough in County Down, Northern Ireland, to produce mashed potato products.
Mashed potato, Champ (mashed potato with spring onion), Colcannon (mashed potato with green cabbage) and Cheese and Onion Mash are offered as well as Mashed Swede, Carrot and Parsnip Mash; Carrot, Parsnip and Swede Mash, and Green Cabbage and Red Cabbage and Beetroot.
Custom-built steam ovens help to retain flavour during cooking and the potatoes are mashed without additives, preservatives or colourings.
The fresh products are available in 1kg and 2.5kg trays or 5kg and 10kg bags with a 12-day shelf life from production.
Frozen mash briquettes, available in Plain, Champ, and Colcannon versions, can be plated and heated from frozen.
Latest products to join the range are garlic potatoes and potato croquettes, supplied in 2.5kg and 1.5kg trays respectively.
