Matthew Clark wine tasting returns to Tobacco Dock

Matthew Clark's annual trade tasting at London's Tobacco Dock will take place on 3 March with the theme #WhyWeLoveWine.

This year's event will invite visitors to step outside their comfort zones and try something new. The new Matthew Clark Generator Bar will aim to provide a fun and inspiring atmosphere for customers from all outlet styles and venues.

On trade experts will be on hand to discuss profit-changing steps, and how to build a solid commercial wine list. The Generator Bar will also feature the Social Media Sofa, an area where customers will gain inspiration from Matthew Clark experts on social media trends. Completing the digital offering will be a dedicated #WhyWeLoveWine app, which will allow guests to bookmark wines, make notes and follow masterclasses as well as share their experiences on social media.

There will be over 450 wines available to sample at the event including San Salvatore, a biodynamic producer from Cilento National Park in Campania, Italy; highly acclaimed Bays of Fire from Tasmania; the handcrafted Chalk Hill range from South Australia; Four Graces from Oregon; and Puro Organic, owned and produced by Swiss musician Dieter Meier.

"#WhyWeLoveWine will seek to bring our unrivalled wine list to life, providing our customers with real world commercial solutions to capitalising on their wine lists."
