The competition is open to chefs in their third year as students or first year working and requires them to create their own signature dishes incorporating products from the McCain Signatures range.

Regional cook-offs will be held on 13 March at Thanet College, 20 March at Liverpool College, 17 April at City of Bristol College and 24 April at Sheffield College, and competitors will have two hours to cook their dishes. The judges will then select competitors to take part in the final to be held at Thames Valley University on 13 June.
