The McDougalls instant soup range comprises 17 varieties, including thick vegetable, broccoli and Stilton, asparagus and thick chicken.
The soups require just the addition of cold water: they can then be heated and stored in a bain-marie or soup kettle for four hours.
The soups give caterers the option to add their own ingredients - perhaps orange and lemon zest in the summer and ginger in the winter, or lentils, cream, pasta shells, herbs or crumbled cheese.
