MiniTherma K thermometer from ETI

The MiniTherma K is claimed to be the smallest thermocouple thermometer on the market.

The lightweight unit, which weighs less than 40g, accepts miniature type K thermocouple plugs that attach to interchangeable probes providing precise temperature read-outs from -59.9°C to +1,199.9°C.

The water-resistant unit with IP65 protection has a robust casing of high-impact ABS plastic and features a display-hold function, low-battery and open-circuit indicators, and auto-switch-off after four minutes.

It's supplied in a protective PVC zip wallet with a food penetration probe (133.161) and a battery.

Options include a fast-response probe, a fast-response meat probe, air or gas probes, and a special penetration probe made from FEP plastic rather than metal to protect staff from the risk of serious assault in high-security locations such as prisons or airlines.

These add £13-£21, excluding VAT, to the kit price of £40 plus VAT and carriage.
