Modus buffet system from Dudson

Modus is a new buffet system from Dudson, created in conjunction with CMK Design.

The range takes its name from the term modus operandi (meaning method of operation) and aims to combine practicality with a high visual impact.

It comprises a collection of stackable ceramic pieces specifically created to fit two sizes (16.2cm x 52.8cm; 16.2cm x 28.5cm) of high-pressure laminate tray ready for cooling, regeneration, safe transportation, storage and rapid service at the table, bar, receptions and buffets.

The pieces include a 6cl (2oz) shot glass, a 13cl (4.5oz) beaker, 7.4cm circular and square dishes, a 15.6cm x 7.4cm rectangular dish and a 15.6cm square dish. The ceramic pieces are dishwasher- and microwave-safe and carry the BS Kitemark 4034 for quality of manufacturing process.

The large tray is designed to work with Gastronorm regeneration systems and can be heated up to 80°C and cooled down to -20°C. Both sizes of tray are angled at either end for ease of handling and conform to BS EN 438 for resistance to crazing, staining and impact in use.
