The group, which supplies in excess of 700 wines from more than 15 countries - is offering its independent hotel, pub, club and restaurant customers a free bottle of still or sparkling Chapel Down wine for every 11 they buy during the month of May.

National Wine Month was conceived as a partnership between suppliers and the trade to educate consumers about wine and encourage them to discover new varieties.

It is co-ordinated by the [Wine & Spirit Education Trust](http://www.wsetglobal.com/), which is hosting a 'Make Time For Wine' consumer roadshow with bespoke tastings throughout May.

Downloadable banners and posters to publicise activities are available from the National Wine Month website, while the [www.maketimeforwine.org](http://www.maketimeforwine.org) website keeps consumers informed of tastings and education sessions around the country.

The month coincides with the [London International Wine Fair ](http://2011.londonwinefair.com/content)(17-19 May) and overlaps [English Wine Week (28 May - 5 June).
