Moy Park scoops two meat and poultry processing awards

Moy Park Foodservice, a leading UK processor of fresh, locally-farmed chicken, has been crowned Processor of the Year in one of two accolades it scooped at the Meat & Poultry Processing Awards 2012 ](http://www.meatinfo.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/13839/Meat_and_Poultry_Processing_Awards_2012_Winners.html)held recently in Birmingham.

"The award reflects several achievements including the growth and development of the business, its continued investment in factories and farms, the responsible approach to environmental issues, support for the community and investment in employee health and well-being," said Jayne Hall, marketing manager at Moy Park.

The group picked up a second award at the event run by Meat Trades Journal with Aaron Whiteman, production manager of Moy Park's Craigavon site in Northern Ireland, collecting the Young Processor of the Year award.
