Nestlé Professional appoints new managing director

Nestlé Professional UK & Ireland has appointed George Vezza as managing director.

Vezza has worked in Switzerland as assistant vice-president of Nestlé's global sales and marketing function and with Nestlé Canada and Nestlé Caribbean region, where he held various sales and marketing roles.

Vezza replaces Neil Stephens, who has been appointed managing director of Nestlé Beverages UK & Ireland.

Vezza said: "It is an enormously exciting time for Nestlé Professional as we continue to morph into a business partner that delivers entrepreneurial solutions to its customers. Neil has created a legacy that I am proud to be taking forward to a new level, as we continue our journey of growth and innovation".

Nestlé Professional has also announced that Steve Norris, currently sales controller for the RTM channel, has been promoted to sales director for Nestlé Professional UK & Ireland.
