Lakeland Dairies' Comelle Vegan Ice Cream Mix delivers greater choice for operators and consumers. The 100% plant-based vanilla-flavoured ice-cream mix can be used in cones, tubs, desserts and sundaes and as a base for thick shakes.

Middleton Foods Mini Pots

Middleton Foods has extended its range of Mini Pots with the addition of two new glazes – Double Smoke and Jamaican Jerk. Coat meat, poultry or fish with the dry glaze, leave to marinate for 15 minutes and then oven-bake, grill or barbecue.

Baker & Baker Brooklyn Coffee Bar cookies

Baker & Baker has launched Brooklyn Coffee Bar cookies in the UK. The 75g cookies come in two flavours (double chocolate and rich chocolate) and each is single wrapped. The soft American-style cookies offer the eating quality of a freshly baked cookie with the convenience of a wrapped cookie. They are Rainforest Alliance certified, use segregated palm oil and are suitable for vegetarians. The cookies have a post-defrost shelf life of 10 days and are supplied with a free display tray in each case.

Santa Maria Lentil Waves and Corn Cones

Santa Maria has launched two new Snack Base products: Lentil Waves and Corn Cones. Deep-fry the snacks until they are fully expanded and crunchy – cooking time is 10-20 seconds for the Corn Cones and 12-15 seconds for Lentil Waves – and season after cooking.

La Lorraine Rustic Cubes

La Lorraine Bakery Group has launched Rustic Cubes – a new range of speciality sourdough bread. Available in white, vital, and olive and herb varieties, each product is part-baked and ready to serve within minutes allowing caterers to only ‘bake off' exactly what they need, when they need it.

New drinks for June 2023

Stiegl Hell

Exclusively distributed by Euroboozer, Stiegl Hell (4.5% ABV) is now available both on draught and in 500ml bottles. Stiegl Hell has grassy hop notes and a mild bitter finish, and works well paired with shellfish, grilled white meats and spicy foods.

Never Say Die Bourbon

Kentucky Bourbon has launched its second expression of Never Say Die. The new blend, distributed by N10 Bourbons, has a lower ABV (47.5%) and mellow spice from the high rye grain content. There are 2,750 bottles per small batch, with four initial batches planned for 2023. The spirit can be used for sipping and in highballs and cocktails.

Etso gin

Love Drinks is distributing two gins from Japanese gin brand Etsu into the on-trade for the first time: Etsu Gin (43% ABV), and Etsu Pacific Ocean Water Gin (45% ABV). Etsu, meaning pleasure in Japanese, is produced by the Asahikawa and Akita distilleries in Hokkaido and Honshu Island.

Tapp'd canned cocktails

Tapp'd Cocktails is launching a new range of canned cocktails in its best-selling flavours: Strawberry Daiquiri (6% ABV), Pina Colada (6% ABV), Sex on the Beach (6% ABV), Mojito (6% ABV) and Espresso Martini (10% ABV).

Raspberry & Rose Gin

Raspberry & Rose Gin is the latest creation from the Lancaster Spirits Company. The gin, created by head distiller Gerard Evans, is infused with rose and raspberry and can be served with tonic or with prosecco and soda.

Hive Mind Sparkling Mead

Wye Valley Meadery and Hive Mind Brewery have rebranded together under a new name, Hive Mind Mead & Brew Co. The brewery has launched a new range of Hive Mind Sparkling Mead (4% ABV) in four flavours: pure honey, honey and ginger, honey and elderflower and honey and rhubarb. The drinks are made using British honey and are gluten-free.

Arthur Beale has launched Sea Salted Spiced Rum, infused with a blend of spices and salt, offering a velvety smooth coffee complexity. It can be used on its own or mixed into a cocktail.

NICE sparkling wine

NICE has launched its first sparkling wine in 200ml cans. The Spanish Airén from La Mancha is a dry, crisp and sparkling vegan white wine available exclusively to the on-trade via the NICE website.

Hampton Court Gin, Six Wives craft gin

New from Hampton Court Gin, Six Wives craft gin (7.5% ABV) is mixed with tonic and infused with orange and thyme for a serve on the go. Also available in a light tonic version.

Rosie's Pig Tropical Cloudy Cider

Westons Cider has introduced a new Tropical Cloudy Cider to its Rosie's Pig range. The lively taste is balanced with tropical elements to deliver a sweet serve. The new variant is available in a 10-litre bag-in-box format.

Celebration Packaging has introduced a new range of double-walled hot drink cups made from bamboo fibre under its EnviroWare® brand. The new cups, available in 8oz, 12oz and 16oz sizes, are made from bamboo fibre with a water-based lining and are certified commercially compostable.

Williams Refrigeration low-height bottle cooler

Williams Refrigeration has added a new low-height option of 850mm to its range of bottle coolers. The range includes one-, two- and three-door models featuring full-sized double-glazed glass doors, LED lighting and adjustable shelving. Each is available with a stainless steel or black PVC coated galvanised steel exterior.

Seal Packaging has introduced Infinity TopSeal. Available in single or double compartments, this microwavable and fully recyclable food packaging weighs less than traditional sealable options as the material is made from over 60% air.
