Ruby Ice Cream from New Forest Ice Cream

New Forest Ice Cream has released Ruby Ice Cream, combining the flavours of prosecco, raspberry and white chocolate, to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary.

Peppadew Bites

Peppadew has launched Peppadew Bites for foodservice. The bites combine sweet, tangy Piquanté pepper with West Country soft cheese, coated in a crisp, panko-style crumb.

Price: Five Peppadew Bites per portion, equivalent to £1.15. Available in 1kg bags


Kumana avocado hot sauce

Kraft Heinz Foodservice and the Restaurant Group's casual dining chain Chiquito have joined forces to bring the UK's first avocado hot sauce to out-of-home customers. Kumana is a Venezuelan-inspired avocado hot sauce with jalapeño, mango and Habañero chilli that delivers sweetness with punches of heat.

Middleton Food's Vegan Burger Mix

Middleton Food's Vegan Burger Mix is made in the UK using carrot, pumpkin and beetroot and developed without soy, wheat or e-numbers. Just add oil and water to create vegan patties with a traditional burger appearance.

Country Range Crème Cake Mixes

The new Crème Cake Mixes from Country Range are available in either chocolate or plain flavour and can be used to make traybakes, loaf cakes, cupcakes, brownies, muffins and more.

New drinks for March 2023

Victuallers Special Edition Rhubarb & Bergamot Gin

The Salcombe Distilling Co has launched its Victuallers Special Edition Rhubarb & Bergamot Gin, which uses nine botanicals, including rhubarb, bergamot, kumquat juniper and angelica. The gin has a palate of sweet rhubarb with scents of citrus and a dry and refreshing finish.

Showerings cider

Showerings is a dry, gently carbonated cider. For its launch, the light and fresh 2021 vintage has been blended with 2017 and 2018 vintages and then fermented for a mature depth and character. The apples (predominantly the Dabinett variety) are grown from a single award-winning orchard and taken to the Showerings' cider mill just seven miles away.

Saplings refill pouches

Sapling Spirits, which plants a tree for every bottle sold, has recently launched refill pouches with the same promise – for every pouch purchased, a tree is planted. Once your bottle has been refilled, the pouch can be posted back without a stamp for it to be recycled.

Sandford Orchards' Coronation Devon Red Cider

Sandford Orchards' new Limited Edition Coronation Devon Red Cider (ABV 4.5%) is now available in 500ml bottles. The medium cider is created from apples grown and pressed in Devon by Sandford Orchards, the oldest working cider mill in the UK.

Mermaid Spiced Rum from the Isle of Wight Distillery

The Isle of Wight Distillery has launched Mermaid Spiced Rum, which combines Caribbean rums from Trinidad and the Dominican Republic with local fruits and spices from the Isle of Wight. The glass bottle features a cork stopper and a tamper-proof seal made from corn and potato starch, which composts in food waste recycling within 6-12 weeks.

Ikigai Collection La liquers

Love Drinks' Japanese portfolio has expanded with the roll-out of a trio of liqueurs from the ‘La' brand, part of the Ikigai Collection, curated by BBC Spirits. The range includes La Tomato, La Yuzu and La Okinawa, all produced at the Tokyo distillery by sake and shochu producer Godo Shusei Co.

Peugeot Maestro pepper mill

Peugeot's new Maestro pepper mill has a glass jar at the base that screws off to swap with different varieties of pepper. The grind size is adjustable and the mill has an upright mechanism to avoid mess. To accompany the mill Peugeot is offering a collection of six premium peppers.

Cheeky Panda Luxury Quilted Sustainable Bamboo Toilet Tissue

Cheeky Panda Luxury Quilted Sustainable Bamboo Toilet Tissue is made with FSC- and Vegan Society-certified 100% sustainable bamboo. The rolls have been wound tighter and so need smaller boxes and more will fit into a container, helping shrink the product's carbon footprint even further.

Merrychef panini press

The new Merrychef panini press delivers sandwiches with perfect grill marks every time. It can be quickly installed as an accessory to the conneX 12 and the eikon e2s, and can be used to create paninis, bagels, subs or sandwiches.

Williams Refrigeration under-counter broilers

Williams Refrigeration has launched a new model in its range of under-counter broilers, the UBC16, which can store 2/1 and 1/1 Gastronorm pans simultaneously. The low-height counter unit can hold weights of 279kg, allowing prime cooking equipment like chargrills and griddles to be installed on top.

Fit high speed ovend from Practica

Taylor UK is supplying the Fit range, Pratica's high speed ovens. The Pratica Fit is designed for locations with limited space looking for a way to quickly prepare hot food without the need for specialised ventilation. It combines a dual magnetron microwave with air impingement, which allows for the continuous preparation of fresh, chilled or frozen foods with browning on breaded or baked goods.

Utopia Mineral collection

Utopia's 14-piece Mineral collection of slate platters is available in various sizes and shapes, from rectangular to oval, as well as a three-tier platter for cheese, savoury or pastry presentation.

Hoshizaki Compact range

The Hoshizaki Compact range is ideal for smaller kitchens that don't require heavy-duty gastronorm refrigeration. The range, which has a Climate Class 4 rating, fits commercial counter height and is capable of operating in ambient temperatures of over 30°C.

Caffeine Limited MY75 coffee grinder

Caffeine Limited has launched the MY75 coffee grinder, the latest version in the Mythos range from Victoria Arduino. The machine's Clima Pro system can grind coffee at different temperatures, from 30°C to 60°C, to extract the full range of flavour. The titanium grinding disk can be adjusted to produce a range of coffee granule sizes, at up to 3.5g a second.

FEM Manitowoc Indigo NXT ice machine

The next generation of Manitowoc Indigo NXT ice machines from FEM are up to 43% more energy efficient than previous models. The machines use environmentally friendly R410A refrigerant and pair up with Manitowoc's ice storage D bins.
